The incident took place around 1:30 AM on Tuesday when India was preparing to celebrate their 71st Independence Day. PHC hackers hacked the website and posted a anti national message with a clip of burning tricolour flag. According to Allahabad University Latest News 2017, the AU’s website which is www.alduniv.ac.in, hacked second time.
A provoking quotation was written in Hindi language in hacked website that “Kashmir would be become Pakistan”. There was also the picture of Terrorist ‘Burhan Wani’ who was recently shot dead by Indian army in website.
The slain Kashmiri militant Burhan Wani’s picture was posted with the message- “I am Wani, I am Pakistani”. The “Pakistani Haxors Crew”, famously known as PHC, many times claimed the responsibility to hack the official website of many Indian institution like Aligadh Muslim University (AMU), Delhi University (DU) & many others.

This the topic of concern for Govt and Private authorities as this event is not of first time. Before it on September 06, 2014 the AU’s Website was hacked too. Then it was again updated by experts of ICT cell. At that time the FIR was lodged by the AU authority.
By confirming the event, the In-charge of Allahabad University’s Information & Communication Technology cell, Professor Avinash Chandra Pandey said this incident was similar to the website hacking of Delhi University & Aligadh Muslim University.
It is clear that by doing this the culprits want to give their bigotry message and also wish to brainwash the teenagers mind. But ICT cell department is investigating the matter and they also lodged an FIR against the hacking personnel.
It is expected that website of Allahabad University will again run as it was after fewer days. Till that candidates are kindly advised to have patience.
